Dies ist die erste Certina Biostar, hier noch als Handaufzugsuhr, Caliber 28-163  mit 17 Steinen, f=19800 A/h, 48 Std Gangreserve. Stahlgehäuse und schwarzes Lederarmband. Beschriftet vorn: ”Certina, Biostar”, innen: ”Certina, 28-163, 17 Jewels, Swiss”, hinten: ”7301 050, 4800586”. Im Fenster unter der 12 sieht man die drei Biorhytmus-Scheiben, die den momentanen Status der drei Biorhythmus Kurven zeigen. Dabei ist der farbige Teil die Pluskurve, der silberne die Minuskurve. Die Uhr muß vom Uhrmacher auf das Geburtsdatum des Eigners eingestellt werden. Das Fenster bei der drei zeigt den Wochentag, beginnend mit 1= Montag. Der Nachfolger dieser Uhr war dann die Biostar Electronic, die einfacher zu Handhaben war, da sie ca. ein Jahr ununterbrochen lief.

In the window below 12 the three Biorhythm discs are visible, showing the actual state of the three biorhythm curves. The colored part is the positive wave, the silver part is the negative wave. The watch has to be adjusted to the birth date of the owner by the watchmaker. The window at 3 shows the day of the week, starting with 1=Monday. The follow-on of this watch was the Biostar Electronic, much easier to handle because running without interruption for at least one year.
