Bertmar war bis ca. 1980 die Hausmarke für Uhren bei der Kanadischen Firma People's (Credit) Jewellers. Der Gründer, Frank Gerstein, hatte zwei Söhne, Bert(rand) and Mar(vin), daher der Name Bertmar.  Hier ein Formwerk mit Handaufzugs Kaliber. Einfaches, goldenes Zifferblatt mit geprägten Zahlen, vergoldetes Gehäuse mit Stahl Rückwand. Beschriftet innen: ”Bertmar, Swiss Made, 15 Jewels”

Bertmar was, likely up until the late 1970s or early 1980s, the house brand name for watches sold by the Canadian People's (Credit) Jewellers. The founder, Frank Gerstein, had two sons in the business. Their names were Bert(rand) and Mar(vin), hence the Bertmar name.
