Hybriduhren sind “herkömmliche” Quartzuhren mit mechanischen Zeigern, die zusätzlich eine Verbindung zum Android oder IOS System auf dem Handy  aufbauen können und den Träger auf eingehende Calls oder andere Events im Handy aufmerksam machen. Dies geschieht meist durch Vibration und Anzeige auf dem Zifferblatt. Das Event muß dann aber (im Gegesatz zur Smart Watch)  über das Handy angesehen und bearbeitet werden.

Hybrid watches are “regular” quartz watches with mechanical hands, that can additionally establish a connection to the Android or IOS System in the mobile phone, where they can alert the owner  on incoming calls or other events on the mobile phone. This is usually done via vibration and  indication on the dial. The event has to be looked at and handled (opposite to a smartwatch) through the mobile phone.
